He has provided strategic advisory and consulting services to leading organizations, including ECOWAS, World Bank, GIZ, CIDA, WaterAid, and CWSA, spearheading initiatives in capacity building, WASH service delivery, decentralized governance, procurement management, and policy reform. Combining 20 years at the Bar with deep development sector expertise, he delivers innovative, results-oriented solutions that enhance institutional effectiveness, strengthen governance frameworks, and drive sustainable development outcomes. He holds a Barrister-at-Law from the Ghana School of Law, M.Sc.

He has extensive expertise in establishing and managing community-based water systems and has successfully led a UNICEF-supported integrated development project in the Savelugu-Nanton District. This project involved the implementation of mechanized boreholes, community water management systems, and strategic partnerships with the Ghana Water Company, all aimed at improving access to safe drinking water and strengthening financial management at the district level.

She is currently Lead, Evaluations at the Mastercard Foundation. Her previous roles include Coordinator at PIAC, Executive Director of UAPS, In-Country Coordinator at the Parliamentary Centre of Canada, Development Officer with CIDA, Assistant Director at the British Council, and Lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

After his doctoral degree in Spatial Planning at the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany, he has worked extensively locally and internationally in several fields including monitoring and evaluation, capacity development, leadership and organisation development, and change management. He sits on the Editorial Board of the Urban Forum Journal and International Advisory Committee of the Southern Urbanism M Phil. Programme at the African Centre for Cities (ACC) at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Jan Sebel has joined the IRC Supervisory Board as from May 2022. He is specialised in finance and governance and fulfils various roles, with oversight being the main theme. Jan worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for more than 30 years, where he led the civil society sector.
